A Letter from Pat Waak
Dear fellow Democrats,
I want to begin by welcoming Sherry Jackson to the CDP team. It was announced
last week that Sherry will be taking over as the Executive Director of the
party. She brings experience, dedication and enthusiasm to the Colorado
Democratic Party. We now have a completed team for the central office and can
begin to plan for new positions in the field.
I am continuing to make my way around the state. Over the last week, several
counties held events that were well attended. It is so inspiring to see
first-hand all of the efforts that are being made in the counties to increase
participation. I thank all of the individuals who have helped plan and who have
attended these events.
It is very clear to me that the Democratic Party is focused, united and ready
to build a strong and effective state party that will deliver key elections.
Each of you plays an important role in the success of the Democratic Party.
Keep up the great work and remember that the CDP is here to help you spread the
Democratic vision throughout the state.
Sincerely,
Pat Waak Chair, Colorado Democratic Party

5. Musgrave a Foe to Small Business April 29, 2005
The following press releases highlights the fact that while Congresswoman
Musgrave may tout support for small businesses, her voting record tells a
different story.
This article provides information about particular votes by Congresswoman
Musgrave during the last couple of months. If you visit her website she has a
pro-small business message, but according to her votes on the Small Business
Committee she appears to be more of a foe than a friend to small business.

following press release.
