On Tuesday, March 15, 2005 the newly elected Chair of the Colorado Democratic Party, Pat Waak welcomed Democratic Elected Officials to party headquarters for an open house.
Over the last week Pat Waak has met privately with several Democrats in the State House and the State Senate to share their visions for the future of the party. Last nights event was an opportunity for Democratic leaders to come together and express their dedication to electing Democrats across the state.
“This is a party that is going to win elections from the ground up,” said Waak during her address. “I am committed to working with all Democrats across the state to get Democrats elected from local offices to the Governor’s office.”
There is a new energy in the Colorado Democratic Party. Under the leadership of Pat Waak the party will be more aggressive and inclusive. While talking to several elected officials on Tuesday night Waak reinforced the strength of the party.
“With the leadership of our elected officials and the dedication of Democrats throughout the state we will work together to continue making our party strong and effective,” said Waak. |
