Denver, Colorado - Today, Pat Waak, Chair of the Colorado Democratic Party, sent a letter to Rep. Joe Stengel of Littleton, CO requesting copies of all time sheets, notes, memos and requests for reimbursement on behalf of his work with the Colorado General Assembly in 2005.

The request was made under Colorado's Open Records Law. Rep. Stengel is required to respond within 72 hours.

"We Democrats are calling for honesty and integrity in government," said Waak. "That is what the people of Colorado want and deserve. If Rep. Stengel can show that he has not done anything improper, we will be more comfortable with the level of expenditures."
