DENVER – Colorado Democratic Party Chairwoman Pat Waak is happy to announce Alejandra Gonzales has been selected as the new Communications Director for the State Party.

Most recently, Gonzales served as Press Secretary for the Senate Majority during the 65th General Assembly. In addition, she has extensive experience as a television news reporter/ producer for the NBC affiliate in Colorado Springs-Pueblo, Spanish language reporter for Telemundo in San Antonio, and producer for Univision in Houston.

"Alejandra is a great addition to our winning team," said Chairwoman Waak. "This year, Coloradans from the Western Slope to the Eastern Plains will decide on the issues that unite us all. In a year when the other party is providing empty rhetoric for political gain, we stand on the side of policies and solutions to the real problems facing our families and businesses."
