All voters in line by 7:00pm will be allowed to vote
Denver - Despite widespread problems at Denver voting centers this
morning, causing some voters to be turned away without voting and others to
wait for hours, a Denver District Court denied a request to keep polls open
until 9:00 pm.
This does not mean that voters who were turned away cannot vote, however.
The problems that occurred this morning have largely been fixed. Any voter who
was not able to vote this morning should return to the polls before 7:00 pm
tonight. Any other voter who has not yet voted should be in line by 7:00pm.
Any voter in line by 7:00pm will be allowed to vote.
"We strongly encourage all voters who have not yet voted, and
those who were turned away from the polls this morning, to get to the polls
by 7:00pm," said State Party Chair Pat Waak.
"Everyone who is in line at 7:00 pm will be allowed to vote.
If you were not able to vote this morning, please come back and cast your vote
this evening. Every single vote counts in this election. We need everyone to
vote."
