Senate President comments on the upcoming 2007 session in first podcast;
podcast available every Friday
DENVER-The Senate Majority Press Office will be taking a step forward in the
advancement of media outreach for this upcoming legislative session, by introducing
podcasts from Senate Democrats on key issues.
Today, Senate President Joan Fitz-Gerald (D-Coal Creek Canyon) has created
her premiere 'podcast', which highlights the issues in the new session. The
podcast can be accessed by clicking on the following link: http://www.clickcaster.com/jfitzgerald
The podcast is an overview of the 66th General Assembly, the key bills, and
how the Senate Democrats will focus their attention on the kitchen table issues
that affect all Coloradans. Senator Fitz-Gerald will be creating a podcast to
be available for download every Friday throughout the session.
Throughout the year the Senate Democrats will be sending podcasts from various
Senators on several key issues. The following are directions to download or
listen to the podcast:
* For the time being the podcasts will be available through the website www.clickcaster.com
and a release will be sent out to announce a new podcast posting.
* Attached to the release will be the website link where the podcast can be
found.
* Simply click on the link and that will direct you to the website with the
podcast. Or you can paste the link into your webpage browser and it will take
you to the website. For example Senator Fitz-Gerald's podcast link is http://www.clickcaster.com/jfitzgerald
* While at the website you can either listen to the podcast online. Or you
can download the podcast in mp3 format to your computer.
* Those with ITunes can add the Senator's podcast to their directory. For example
Senator Fitz-Gerald's podcast can be accessed by subscribing to her 'url', which
is http://www.clickcaster.com/jfitzgerald
. ITunes will automatically download the latest update.
