Colorado Democratic Party Scheduled To Elect New Officers and Prepare for 2008 |

Denver, Colorado - The Colorado Democratic Party will convene its State Central Committee and Biennial Reorganizaton meeting on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at 10am. The meeting will be held at the Adams Mark Hotel, Grand Ballroom - Tower Building.
Presenting the theme of "It's a New Day. See How Democrats Govern," the united party will elect its officer for the next two years, discuss the delegate selection plan for the 2008 Democratic National Convention, and hear from Elbra Wedgeworth, President of the Denver 2008 Host Committee. In addition, the assembly will hear from Senator Ken Salazar, U.S. Reps. Diana DeGette, Mark Udall, John Salazar and Ed Perlmutter. Governor Bill Ritter is expected to address the committee as well.
