DENVER — Senate President Joan Fitz-Gerald (D-Coal Creek Canyon) has voiced full approval for Senate Bill 25 in an internet podcast. SB 25 would make it illegal in Colorado to discriminate an employee on the basis of sexual orientation. Her comments can be heard at:

"No one should have the right to hijack another person's opportunity or career because of an arbitrary judgment about someone's sexual orientation," said the Senator in her podcast comments on SB 25. "Every person in Colorado should be considered for employment or promotion based on their ability to perform the duties of their job."
