DENVER-Senate Joint Resolution 32, by Senate President Joan Fitz-Gerald (D-Coal Creek Canyon), names the 48 Colorado soldiers who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving their country in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.

The resolution also honors the military personnel from Colorado who are currently serving in the two countries. Her comments on the Senate floor today on SJR 32 can be heard at:

The resolution passed unanimously in first the Senate, and then in the House. A reception followed for the family members of Colorado's fallen heroes.
