Gov. Bill Ritter launches a summer and fall statewide outreach tour on Saturday, visiting two health care facilities and two renewable energy events along the Front Range.

"With the 2007 legislative session now complete, it’s important that we spend as much time as possible with the people of Colorado,” Gov. Ritter said. “I want to hear their struggles, gather their ideas and work together to craft solutions to those struggles."

The Governor will be visiting Boulder Community Hospital, Clinica Campesina Family Health Services in Lafayette, Eagle Place Town Homes in Lafayette, and the Green Rocks ETown concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

Additional 2007 tour stops are still being scheduled, but tentative plans call for:

* Colorado Springs/Pueblo area in early August

* Northwest Colorado in mid-August

* Western Colorado in early September

* Southwest Colorado and the San Luis Valley in September

* Eastern Plains in mid-October.

The outreach tour will continue around the state in future years as well.
