Statement regarding Angie Paccione's exit from the race for the 4th CD |

"Angie Paccione's decision to remove herself from the 4th Congressional District race is bittersweet. Her passion for public service will be missed, however two strong democratic candidates remain in the race.
"Both Betsy Markey and Eric Eidsness better reflect the values of the 4th CD unlike the current Rep. Marilyn Musgrave. Musgrave, as recently as yesterday, voted against supporting health care for thousands of Colorado's uninsured and underinsured children demonstrating once again that she is out of touch with her constituents.
"We look forward to a healthy discussion of the issues in the 4th CD."
