Denver CO - The Colorado Democratic Party has announced the names of this year’s Colorado Democratic Party Awards winners to be recognized at the Annual Jefferson Jackson Dinner at 5 p.m., Friday, February 29 in the Korbel Ballroom at the Colorado Convention Center.

The Awards will be part of the program that includes a keynote address by Virginia Senator Jim Webb.

“Each year the Colorado Democratic Party recognizes outstanding achievements by party members and party leaders,” said Democratic Party Chair Pat Waak. “We have an outstanding group this year that deserve our praise.”

The 2008 awardees are:

Chair’s Awards
U. S. Representative John Salazar, 3rd Congressional District

Colorado Young Democrats Initiative will present the “Colorado Young Democrat of the Year” and the “Honorary Young Democrats of the Year” awards.
