DENVER, CO – Tomorrow, Thursday, August 21st, State Senator Sue Windels
will host a 'Solutions for Colorado' community forum in Highlands Ranch
focusing on education. Sen. Windels will address Senator Obama’s plan to invest
in our country’s future by improving our education system and making sure that
all Americans can afford a college education. Obama will ensure that every
child in America has access to a quality education and is given an opportunity
to succeed. That’s why Senator Obama has introduced a comprehensive plan
to expand early childhood education, to recruit, prepare and reward a new
generation of teachers, and to fix and fund No Child Left Behind. During the
community forum, voters will have the opportunity to share their stories and
ideas for improving our education system here in Colorado and across the
country.
This is the ninth 'Solutions for Colorado'
event in the state. Obama’s Campaign for Change has also hosted an
economic forum with U.S. Representative John Salazar, an energy forum with
Speaker Andrew Romanoff, a sportsmen’s forum with Governor Bill Ritter, a forum
on the housing crisis with Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper, a rural issues forum

Perlmutter, an education forum with Speaker Romanoff, and a healthcare forum
