What is Re-Org?
Per the Colorado Democratic Party Rules & Bylaws, county parties are required to meet in odd-numbered years to elect/re-elect officers. This process is known as “re-organization” (or re-org for short)!
The county central committee meets to elect a chair, vice chair, secretary and treasurer, and any other officers provided for in the county rules. This also applies to multi-county parties (House Districts, Senate Districts, Judicial Districts, and Congressional Districts) and the state party.
Want to run? All you have to do is be a registered Democrat in Colorado and live in the county/multi-county you would like to run in. That’s it!
