What are the Assemblies and Conventions?
After caucuses there are a series of assemblies (to nominate candidates) and conventions (to elect national delegates and presidential electors). Every registered Democrat can attend and vote in the caucuses on Saturday, March 7, 2020, 2:00 pm MST, but only elected delegates can vote at these subsequent assemblies & conventions.
Congressional District Assemblies and Conventions
March 18 – April 17, 2020

What to Know for State Assembly and Convention:
The State Assembly & Convention will be held on Saturday April 18, 2020. At the Colorado State Assembly, we will nominate Democratic candidates for the U.S. Senate to the June 30, 2020 Democratic Primary Ballot (unless they are pursuing petition-only). We will also finalize the 2020 Colorado Democratic Party Platform.
