But only registered Democrats can take part in the Democratic caucus and assembly process, where grassroots voters help shape party priorities, and become the delegates who nominate candidates to the Democratic primary ballot, from county and legislative to federal and statewide offices. It’s a great way to meet other people who care, and the people who are running to represent you.

If you want to participate, you’ll need to register as a Democrat before your county’s deadline, which is 22 days before their caucus. This ranges from Feb 9 to Feb 13, so the safe bet is to affiliate by Feb 9. You can contact your county clerk for their exact date.
