CDP Update on COVID-19 (March 11, 2020)

We are exploring all possible options -- we want to approach this with a surgical reaction to protect public health and safety, while ensuring the wheels of democracy continue moving forward. The state and county parties cannot currently change the dates of assemblies under current law, nor can they allow remote or electronic participation under current law. We have spoken with legislative leaders and the governor’s office about what can be done legally to give us as a party the option to change dates, vote remotely, or even vote by mail-in ballots. We will be monitoring the best data and health practices available daily to help guide the best decisions possible under the circumstances.

Check back daily for updates -- we will get through this together.
