Colorado Democratic Party Chair announces Candidates designated to the ballot at the April 6 Assemblies.

DENVER - Today, the Colorado Democratic Party held Multi County Assemblies and designated the following candidates listed below onto the Primary Democratic Ballot.

“Democrats are fired up to represent their communities in every nook and cranny across our state. I’m inspired to see such excellent candidates competing everywhere and stepping up to run for State House, State Senate, and District Attorney,” said Shad Murib, Chair of the Colorado Democratic Party.

Senate District 6: Vivian Smotherman

Senate District 13: Matt Johnston

Senate District 21: Sen. Dafna Michaelson Jenet

Senate District 28: Rep. Mike Weissman

Judicial District 5: DA Heidi McCollum

Judicial District 22: Christian Hatfield

Congressional District 5: River Gassen & Joe Reagan

The rest of the Multi County Designating  Assemblies will take place on April 7,10 and 11.
