Colorado Democratic Party Congratulates CU Regent At-Large-Elect Lesley Smith

Colorado Democratic Party Chair Morgan Carroll issued the following statement congratulating  CU Regent At-Large-Elect Lesley Smith:

“Congratulations to Lesley Smith, a 30-year veteran of the University of Colorado system, on her election as our next CU Regent At-Large. As a scientist, educator and higher education advocate, Lesley brings a wealth of experience that will serve her and Colorado well in her new role. As our next CU Regent At-Large, Lesley will work to ensure that CU offers students an excellent, relevant education that equips them with the critical thinking skills to be workforce-ready, and will work to attract funding for a strong CU system that doesn't leave graduating students with a mountain of debt —  all while making CU more accessible for all Coloradans."
