Colorado Democrats Statement on Boulder Shooting

Denver, CO - The Colorado Democratic Party released the following statement reacting to the tragedy in Boulder yesterday, when ten Coloradans lost their lives in another senseless act of gun violence:

“Our hearts are heavy with mourning for the ten Colorado families that will have empty seats at their table from yet another senseless act of gun violence. We’re thankful to local law enforcement for preventing more lost lives, and we’re especially thankful to officer Eric Talley, who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect his community. We at Colorado Democratic Party grieve with and stand in solidarity with the community of Boulder during this time of loss and mourning.”
