Colorado Democratic Party Chair Morgan Carroll reacted to the U.S. Supreme Court refusing to block Texas’ dangerous abortion ban today:

“The U.S. Supreme Court failed Americans with today’s horrifying decision to leave in place a draconian, unconstitutional law that wrongly strips away abortion access from millions. It is a stark reminder of the consequences of Republican leadership. Coloradans will not forget about today’s decision when they vote in 2022 and they will reject anti-choice candidates.

“Now more than ever we need our congressional delegation to act swiftly to pass the Women’s Health Protection Act and ensure access to critical reproductive health care.”
