Insurrectionist and Leading Senate Candidate Doubles Down on Big Lie in Unhinged Letter on Jan. 6 Anniversary
Denver, CO – While the Colorado GOP deflects and downplays the anniversary of the insurrection, their leading GOP Senate candidate Ron Hanks doubled down on his claims that the election was stolen in an unhinged letter.
The election conspiracy rant consisted of lies about polling, promotion of his own Big Lie lawsuit against the Secretary of State, and attacks on the media.
Hanks goes further to claim without evidence that “the weaponized federal government of the Biden Regime and the mockingbird media thought they could control the story and brand Patriots as rioters and cop killers,” and that the evidence of fraud “has compounded.”
“The weaponized federal government of the Biden Regime and the mockingbird media thought they could control the story and brand Patriots as rioters and cop killers”
He also referred to the media as “fake journalists” and said that his own reporting of the insurrection “stood the test of time.”
“My report and observations of that day have stood the test of time. A note to the fake journalists: It is an easy thing to achieve, if they report the truth – not the pre-built talking points of their media masters”
It’s clear Ron Hanks is too extreme for Colorado. Read the full letter here.
