Joe O’Dea Misleads Coloradans on His Far Right Record
GOP Senate candidate Joe O’Dea is misleading Coloradans about his troubling record of siding with Trump, McConnell, and voting for a no exceptions abortion ban. O’Dea’s far-right positions assure Coloradans that he will be a rubber stamp for McConnell and the MAGA agenda which is out of step with Colorado.
O’Dea’s far-right record:
Trump

Called the Mar-a-Lago investigation a “political stunt.”
Believes Trump bears no blame for the January 6th insurrection.
Supports finishing Trump’s border wall.
McConnell
Praised McConnell and said “[Mitch McConnell] has done some great things for our country.”
Abortion

Would’ve voted to confirm all of the Supreme Court Justices nominated by Trump and George W. Bush, the majority of whom overturned Roe v. Wade.
Guns
Said that “we don’t need more [gun control] laws.”
Opposed the bipartisan gun safety law that passed the Senate with 15 Republican votes.
Said he’s an “advocate” for the Second Amendment.
Backed by the NRA’s Colorado affiliate group.
Climate
Claimed “there’s still a debate there still to be had” about the extent of human contribution to climate change.
Said environmental regulations should be decided by the oil and gas industry: “I would default to those people that know – oil and gas people.”
Praised Trump for making cuts to the Environmental Protection Agency and said it needed to be “cut back.”
Social Security and Medicare
