MAGA Heidi Conspiracies Countdown DAY 11: Furry Fury
The Colorado Democratic Party is drawing attention to Heidi Ganahl’s dangerous commitment to conspiracies in a countdown to Election Day, continuing with Day 11: Furry Fury.
Ganahl spent weeks of her campaign pushing unfounded conspiracy theories about children “identifying as cats” and “furries” in Colorado schools. School districts immediately discredited her anti-LGBTQ moral panic, but Ganahl and her allies kept pushing this debunked hoax.
Her campaign is so far removed from reality that they began saying they would provide “evidence” of this conspiracy to journalists by sharing photos of school children supposedly dressed up as “furries” in school.
The only piece of “evidence” ever published was this photo, provided by Ganahl’s campaign without explanation to 9NEWS’ Kyle Clark.
