NEW POLL: Coloradans Overwhelmingly Reject Gardner & Trump-Backed Supreme Court Lawsuit to Overturn ACA

Pre-existing condition protections in “greater danger than ever” after Gardner caved to Trump’s pressure, “flip-flopped” on his own 2016 standard, & pledged to confirm Trump’s anti-ACA nominee

Denver, CO - A new poll from Change Research reveals what we all knew: Coloradans overwhelming disapprove of the Senator Cory Gardner and President Trump-backed lawsuit to overturn the Affordable Care Act that threatens to rip away health care from more than 400,000 Coloradans and gut protections for the 2.4 million Coloradans with pre-existing conditions.

With the Supreme Court slated to hear the lawsuit to overturn the health care law just a week after the election, Gardner’s pledge to support Trump’s SCOTUS nominee who is a known critic of the Affordable Care Act comes under scrutiny as protections for pre-existing conditions are “in greater danger than ever.”

The poll confirms that health care continues to be a top issue for Colorado voters. So, it is no surprise that Gardner trails in poll after poll, as he has crusaded against the ACA during his decade in Washington and has pulled a disingenuous election year stunt — putting forth a “horse excrement” fake bill that has been debunked by five independent fact-checkers — to try to paper over his toxic record.
