NEW POLL: Gardner “Sinking Further Underwater,” Unfavorability Spiking to 53%
Denver, CO - A new poll from Keating Research shows that Senator Cory Gardner’s unfavorability among Coloradans has spiked, “sinking further underwater with Colorado voters as the election approaches.” Gardner’s unfavorability has leaped 8 percent since Keating’s last poll in October, reaching 53%.
Gardner’s approval is now 16 points underwater, with the majority of Colorado voters saying they have an unfavorable opinion toward his performance in Washington. But this is no surprise, as Gardner is with President Trump “100%,” and Trump’s approval rating is tied with Gardner’s at a mere 37%, with nearly two-thirds of voters having an unfavorable view of the president.

Colorado Democratic Party Chair Morgan Carroll:
“Senator Cory Gardner’s high unfavorability comes as no surprise as he has prioritized Trump, McConnell, and wealthy donors over the interests of Coloradans. Come November, Coloradans will elect an independent leader to go to Washington to stand up for our values, not a lapdog to Trump and McConnell.”
