Two-thirds of House GOP Vote to Formally Thank Insurrectionist and GOP Senate Frontrunner Ron Hanks
“Hanks’ views on the 2020 elections, a centerpiece of his U.S. Senate campaign, were on full display on Tuesday”
Denver, CO – Yesterday GOP Senate candidate Ron Hanks showed why he’s the frontrunner when two-thirds of the House GOP caucus voted to formally thank him for attending the Jan. 6th insurrection. Ernest Luning from Colorado Politics referred to Hanks as the “leading Republican Senate candidate” and pointed to Hanks winning the straw poll following the 2nd GOP Senate forum and his appearances on national TV.
When given the chance to urge Congress to pass legislation to protect voting rights, the state GOP House caucus doubled down on election conspiracy theories by validating Ron Hanks and his obsession with the 2020 election. The GOP is proving to Colorado voters that they’re more interested in pushing an extreme, anti-democracy agenda that serves Donald Trump than fighting for Coloradans.
