Coloradans expect more from their elected officials than politicians who put their ideology above our kids, our public health, or our ability to get ahead in life and make our own health care decisions. That’s why we’re launching The Horizon Project: a brand new field organizing bootcamp that will train new organizers on the best practices for how to deep canvass, organize, and activate voters in 2023 and 2024.

This training program, created in partnership with Attorney General Phil Weiser, will not only train organizers on how to deep canvass and best engage with voters – it will also test their skills in real-time by engaging voters in Colorado’s newest Congressional District, CD8.

CD8 is a top-tier battleground to make sure we win a Democratic majority in Congress, keep our majority on the State Board of Education, and elect community-minded champions to city councils, mayor seats, and school boards across the district. MAGA extremists are going to do their best to win these elections, and we need to be ready to fight back.

With such important elections across CD8 in 2023 and 2024, these CDP-certified organizers will be best-equipped to support community-minded candidates focused on creating jobs, protecting our freedoms, and setting our kids up with a great education.

Calling all students! We are kicking off the second annual Horizon Deep Canvassing Summer Fellowship. Please join us as we engage voters, learn organizing skills, and elect Democrats up and down the ballot in Congressional District 8.
